In March 2023, Studio Aekae was part of a consultancy that led the Art Direction for Conferma Pay, a virtual payments company undergoing a strategic and visual repositioning following its multi million dollar investment by Sabre Corporation and Mastercard. Alex guided Conferma's executive team, along with stakeholders from their incoming parent company, through the process of rebranding their 15-year-old name, changing it from Conferma Pay to simply Conferma. Additionally, Alex designed a compelling visual transformation for the company's iconography, colourways, typography and visual style, setting the stage for its next chapter as a global fintech brand. The newly developed identity system was launched in January 2024.
