Alex Longson is a British American multi-disciplinary Art Director based in Edinburgh. In 2017, he co-founded CombiniCo, a Korean minimal fast food brand where he worked as Art Director for 3 years. During this time, the company scaled to a $2.5M valuation, winning numerous national awards including Best Commercial Design in 2019.

After exiting his company in 2020, Alex now works as an independent Art Director through his studio and in association with consultancy firms, leading aesthetic and strategic repositioning projects within a range of global and local brands. His most recent clients include American Express, Sabre, Conferma and Mastercard.

Alongside his main practice, Alex co-directs the design theory magazine Command+i, having been featured on Channel 4’s George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces, and distributed in 50 countries worldwide. He is also currently building a 15-acre sustainable botanical micro-farm in Northern Italy.
